Default Housing beat w/ pictures(large)

Moved into a new house Monday before last, same landlord as my old house. 3 people upstairs, 1 downstairs. The girl who lives downstairs moved in before us and was using the washer in the basement when it flooded (basement had carpets in it at the time). She told the landlord and nothing happened.

Fast forward to Tuesday of last week, I wake up with my eyes burning and sinuses clogged. I have nasty allergies with mold and guess what the basement is filled up with? Black mold...YAY! I go in wednesday and tell the woman at the landlords office whats wrong and leave a number, nothing happens. I go back yesterday on my lunch and throw a fit.

When I come home from work, the wet carpets/rugs have been taken out...and thats it. I go in today and tell the office woman to have the landlord call me today...I just went through a bottle and a half of bleach water trying to kill this [censored] but I have a feeling its going to take a lot more. Anyone else ever have a flooding problem, perhaps from friendly tips?

Call a professional before you die. Send the bill to the landlord.

Call a lawyer...you can sue the everloving piss out of your landlord if you report this to him and it's not taken care of immediately and you get sick. The [censored] is LETHAL, so be careful.

Fixed.

That stuff is pretty much impossible to get rid of once you have it.
