Default ($60) Restealing DEEP on the bubble

Umm, reads are Xallow has been making raises like this once or twice this tourney, and seems decent enough, i guess. Do you reshove?


Seat 2: Xallow (4045 in chips)
Seat 4: me (4082 in chips)
Seat 6: icetonez (2740 in chips)
Seat 7: 2005XKR (2633 in chips)

I like it. It puts him to a tough decision as you have him outchipped, and winning this pot uncontested will leave you in a great spot to bully the bubble.

Edit: I don't like calling because he acts first after the flop, plus it's too much of your stack.

Yeah, I don't necessarily think calling is always better. Against the kind of opponent who rarely leads the flop without a pair and never calls or raise without one, you're going to fold a lot of hands postflop that you won't fold preflop, and there's always the backup plan of actually making a hand.

If raising to 4 bbs has been his standard throughout and he has shown the propensity to steal I like a reshove.
