Doesn't seem like a big deal. Bluster on both sides, though a deserved award for the Dalai Lama.

Perhaps China should mind their own business and not have invaded Korea.
Perhaps China should mind their own business and not have invaded India.
Perhaps China should mind their own business and not have invaded Vietnam.
Perhaps China should mind their own business and not have invaded Tibet.
Perhaps China should mind their own business while the USA meets with the Dalai Lama.

Is there any neighboring country that China has not attacked?

In modern times, I believe Russia and Japan are the only two countries on that list

Methinks this is going to get a response like "US should have minded its own business and not invaded Vietnam, Iraq, blah blah chow meow." Not saying I'd agree, but that's what's going to happen. But regarding the story: wtf? F the Chinese for being douches about this. This isn't Chinese business at all.

There were numerous skirmishes between the USSR and the ChiComs.
These skirmishes did not rise to the level on invasions but Nixon was able to use these incidents to score a diplomatic coup in the 1970s to drive a bigger wedge between the USSR and the Chi-Coms. As for Japan, they no longer border China but if they did, I have no doubt the Chi-Coms would have made aggressive military moves against Japan... The Chi-Coms are not nice people...

China has not attacked the following border countries in modern times:

North Korea, Mongolia, (Kazakhstan, Tajakistan, Krygestan if you count them separately from the Soviet Union), Pakistan, Nepal, Butan, Burma, Laos.

It depends how you define modern times.... I consider anything during/after WW2 to be modern times... The Chi-Com govt was born just before WW2 and their foreign policy track record shows they can't be trusted to keep the peace...
