What are we putting him on such that our turn bet makes sense/is profitable?

[/ QUOTE ]

we can put him on KQ or a high pp JJ for example. But he wont shove that.
Villain is imo a donk or he made a great bluff

agreed that checking the turn is better

also agreed that basically his whole range is pps

2weak - rather than just spewing out hands he could have, think about his preflop ranges. We raised from the button, so he's 3betting JJ, folding/3betting KQ (maybe calling a small % of the time)... u cant just say 'oh he has and 8, or a high pp' coz he doesnt cold call preflop with those hands

OK lets say he calls pf with every pp <JJ and maybe KQs.
Thats his pf range in the sb right?
The problem is now that none of this hands makes sense on the turn. Why should he shove 55 there? why TT? why KQs

BTW. im really curious about villains hand because his play doesnt add up imo

The only hand i could think of is 55 (dont know why he shoving) or something like 99 or TT and he knows that the 8 is a scarecard for you.

its a tough hand to play once you get to the turn. If you c/c another bet you can't be too confident you are getting another dime out of a Kx...soo just hope some donk has AK/KQ/555 and push!

i'll be betting a little more on flop though.. i sometimes see people doing it with Kx here... but however, when SB plays back at me i usually give them credit... it depends on if you have any reads from before..

I would fold and make a note, prefer to avoid playing hard spots vs decent players.
