Why are you betting out from sb with middle set?

The preflop raiser will represent aces by c-betting this flop. You can check-raise the flop if villian is moderately aggro. As you played it turn is check/call or bet/fold.

personally i dont c/r this hand out of the blinds - you are only getting action back at you if you are way behind (AAxx) or slightly behind (wrap+fd). leading is fine imo as you find out where you are, and here it looks like some kind of draw.

turn i check, and move based on reads

I pretty much agree with this line of action for this situation.

AAXX will almost always raise the flop here, so I like leading out.

Checking the turn allows an aggro villain to stack off and a passive villain to give away his hand (pot bet = KJXX, chk = not KJXX).

If villain is a smart player, you will have a tough decision if he decides to bet. Your decision is much harder since you have an A and 4 in your hand too.
