Roy - how do we export hands from the prior DB? I selected the DB from the DB control panel, and after some minutes had passed, received what appeared to be an encouraging message:

However, the directory referenced does not exist. For grins, I checked the holdemmanagerbeta directory, but it's not there either.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK - chalk this one up to user error. I run Vista, and when I installed the 0.50 beta, forgot to have it run as administrator. So it lacked the permission to create or write to directories under the "program Files" tree.

I have rectified that, and all is well again (it also explains why I wasn't getting any log files). I'm importing my hands from 0.37 as I speak.

You may wish to consider making HM Vista compliant by putting data and other files under the user data tree, rather than in Program Files. God knows why MS insists on making things difficult for us. . .

Cheers, Carl.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If I try to continue it will not launch HM.
Do I need to uninstall and re install or what and can this be fixed. It seemes like HM has allot of problems with fire walls and anti virus's.

Could you send me your holdemmanager.config file? Hopefully the problem is in there and not related to the actual scan.

Thanks,

Roy
