Default Full Tilt running really slow and laggy

Took a 2-3 week break from poker. Came back, d/l'ed updates for Full Tilt, and it has been very slow ever since. Did I miss something with the FT software or am I the only one experiencing this? I usually run PT, PAH, and FTS, but have tried playing with no programs and FT is still very slow. It gets to the point where it's hard to even 4 table at times because it slows down and gets behind. Any suggestions?

the latest version of ftp, which is resizeable, is very slow. on my 3 year old laptop it consumes around 25pct of the cpu when playing 6 tables.

DO NOT EVER OPEN THE CASHIER WINDOW!!!!

If you do, close the whole FTP client, and restart before playing.

Open FTP, open tables, NO CASHIER, you should avoid much of the LAG issues.

Also run FullTiltPoker.exe at "High Priority" via Windows "Task Manager", it makes it generally much more responsive.

** disclaimer - this is second hand information, I don't play much FTP. But I read posts of others that suggest this is the fix, for whatever reason.

dave.
