He could be pushing AQ, AJ, maybe A10. I call all day long, stats would help tho.

I find i'm able to fold TPTK on a dry flop if i run into static, but if i get to the turn with it; and the turn doesn't bring a draw home, barring a read that villain is a nit, i usually stack off. Just curious if that was a leak.

Why did you bet so much? You're not charging draws, and you're likely folding out weaker aces.

Bad? I usually just keep betting big because no one really folds top pair; and i don't give unknowns much credit. How would you have sized your bet?

This hand illustrates a fundamental conept that is essential to success at NL. The reason that the Baluga thm is so important is that when you are raised on the turn, you will usually have to make another call on the river which effectively makes you lay odds. In this example, however, your opponent is all in, and you will not have to call another bet. In other words, you are getting odds on this call and it is +EV.

getting better than 3 to 1, dont fold.

I think in general, a lot of players though they know they shouldn't, simply ask themselves, am I beat here? The answer is, yeah probably. But not 77% of time.
