I dont see this as being a bad card very often for you. Unless he has 44 or 66 you are good here. With no reads I have to assume he's drawing and the flush has hit on the river. Likely he is going to pay you off here if you make a reasonable river bet. I don't like the overbet much in general vs. unknowns because you run too much risk of losing value on your good hands and so many people love to nut-shove. I like a bet of about $9 here. If he was drawing to the flush he pretty much has to call. If he has a good Ace he's calling. If he has a boat he shoves over the top. And then you have to call.

That's how I see it.

I'm interested how others would play it as well.

Bet about 4.50 to 5 on the turn and shove river. Expect to see flushes and trip aces a decent amount.

I was going to post about my turn play , normally i have a good image to bet big cause im LAG but here i had no image at all and i really wanted to get some value from any ace. Also , i dont think flush draw call 5$ on turn.

Like i said , normally this hand is easier for me cuz im LAG and everybody know it , but in this spot i had to play it like an unknown

Interesting , sometimes i do it sometimes i bet straight up.
This time with the flow of the match i decided to bet but i like the CRAI

EDIT: The more i think about it the more i like this CRAI.
I think the ace of spade is the best card to do it.

You would be surprised about flush draws calling incorrectly on the turn, and an ace with a decent kicker is almost definitely calling as well. If he folds to a normal size bet, then so bet it, but I would rather bet strong and have him make a big mistake than me give him close to odds and end up value stacking myself.

bet more on turn and shove river. a flush will call and most aces will call.

Checking allows people to bluff when they won't call.

Checking allows flushes, trip aces to bet and commit themselves when you raise.

If you just bet, you will not get raised here often unless you are looking at A10+.

Yeah i agree my turn play is pretty weak the more i think about it.
Im losing value on river by not betting more on turn except if i CRAI.
I played this hand F-CKING BAD.WOW.
