Default NL100: Two Pairs, Unraised Pot.

villain runs 29/3/2.5. Just a regular bad player, not horribly bad tho. I flopped two pairs and decide to c/r. How should i have played the turn? thx for all advices.

Wow, that is a really difficult spot. I would just call here and hope to hit my flush or an 8.

I would've actually c/c'd on the turn. By betting the pot on the turn, only better hands are going to continue on.

I don't like the CR on flop, two pair is very vulnerable so I like leading out 3-4 on flop. Turn as played is simple, call and reassess, sucks that youre OOP though. I'm pretty sure he has JT, but youre priced in to try and hit one of your outs. If the riv is a brick tho, you can't really call another bet.

I agree with Vizer about the turn btw.

Why not go all in the turn? Are we going to fold to an UTG shove on the river when he has only $20 left and the pot is 110?
