Stupid human tricks -- dumbest thing you've ever done

Well, dumbest thing I've done this week. Used a glass bowl to heat up a hamburger I'd cooked last night. Unfortunately dropped the bowl when I removed it from the microwave, and it shattered into a hundred pieces. Not as bad as china/crystal would have, but it was pretty bad. Fine, whatever.
I start picking up the broken glass starting with the big pieces...but, still hungry, notice a large-ish piece of hamburger seemingly unscathed from the fall, and although being somewhat outside the 3-second rule, opt to gingerly grab it and place it in my mouth, only to bit down on a shard of glass that had implanted itself within the meat, and slice my tongue up pretty good.
