Not at all. It was funny, once I got to 100K, I laid down AQ in the BB for a button steal and AK 2x when it folded around to me. I kept telling myself that the only way I wouldn't make it was if I played a hand. Sat strategy is so strange sometimes.

FWIW, I felt like I have been trying to qualify forever, but truth be told, I have done probably 6 or 7 of the $160 double shootouts, one $650 last weekend, the $140 William Hill 10 seat added this morning, and one $215 on party. I am leaving for Vegas on Friday and am staying out until the 8th (or later [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) Luckily I already have comped rooms for the whole time so I can take the extra $1K from PS. I was planning on playing in the $1500 event for sure but was worried if I made it to the 2nd day that it would conflict with the "Sat Day". Don't have to worry about that now LOL.

Had to bump to brag! I moved about three weeks ago in with a couple buddies who don't have internet until tomorrow when I move into my permanent place. So yesterday I played on another friend's slow ass computer which froze twice during the tourny so I couldn't reply to this thread then.

All year my goal was to make it to the WSOP but once satellites started I kept putting it off until yesterday. Started out getting 18th of 173 in the yearly TLB freeroll (5 seats) and then 18th of 1287 in the Silver Star freeroll (5 seats) so I really really wanted to win that after 8 1/2 hours. It was definitely tense towards the end: best hand was with about 350 left, I push with 7-8 BB's on button with 52s and BB calls with TT. Flop is A34....Turn 10....River 5.

I dont have any unrealistic dreams of winning it but i do expect to have fun, meet some of ya'll fine folks and get 7th place.
