Cinci @ Sea -3
I thought this line would be bigger, I just noticed it.
I put a unit on Sea/-110 at betonline. Do people really have faith Cinci's D is gonna bounce back? |

Re: Cinci @ Sea -3
I don't think it represents anything about Cincy's D as much as it represents Seattle's D. Now, I'm not saying I agree with it (I like Seattle on this), but I'm guessing the bookmakers feel like neither offense can really be stopped by the opposing defenses. Basically they are just giving Seattle the homefield advantage points, and I think that Seattle is probably better than that. What do you think?

I don't have a play on the spread but I do have a unit on the Cincinnati ML at +170.

Re: Cinci @ Sea -3
I'm not sure if it represents either D as much as the NFC = teh suck. I thought it was a little low at first, but I can't get out of my head the Saints getting smoked vs. B'more & Cincy at home last year.

Re: Cinci @ Sea -3
i thought the same thing. Last i checked it was at 3 1/2 at a few places.
As a lifelong cincy fan, taking seattle at -3 is a great bet. Bengals d is only "stopping" people when they create turnovers, not by forcing punts. Hasselbeck is too good of a qb to make the same mistakes that mcnair did in week 1 (and most of his mistakes were generated by the likes of ahmad brooks pressure (who is out this week) and because the ravens lost ogden in that game) With ahmad brooks as questionable (locals say hes out), and rashad jeanty out, the bengals lb core looks like this: Landon Johnson, Lemar Marshall (who missed practice with an injury on wed and thursday), Dhani Jones With an already poor defense struck with injuries at a couple key spots, and the rookie leon hall receiving critical time and looking poor, this defense really is just THAT BAD Yes, i expect the bengals to put a lot of points too, but one of the big problems for the bengals D has been they never get real rest. The O scores so quick or punts (most of the time in the no huddle, and most of the time a semi hurry up offense) the already atrocious D gets worse. Factor in Alexander pounding the ball, and the seahawks Time of Possession is gonna wear the bengals D down. I hope im wrong (as a bengals fan), but betting seattle here is a good move |
