I think Hero has a clear turn raise here. Am I wrong?

this line is pretty common and simply atrocious. if i have a hand that i can bet the turn with, it is one i am never folding ever in a million years.

instead of merely calling the turn and then donking a river club or check/raising one of the 3 non-club 8s, this retard commits himself to barrelling off 3 bets with what the vast majority of the time is gonna be 9-high. this play loses money.

gotta say I like how he played this. Huge draw, this is probably the best way to maximize folding equity, and I think there are hands people will bet the turn with that will fold on the turn or on the river.

I bet/3bet the flop. If I have a hand that can bet this turn, it is one that is showing down 100% of the time. There is 0 folding equity here. His hand is either 55, 66 or nothing.

If this line makes money, then online lhe is alive and well, cuz this play sucks.

you know in this particular 98s hand it doesn't matter how you spew, as long as you do spew.
I happen to think against a lot of online lags his line is the best.

donk - 3 bet flop reeks of draw to me. I guess if you are balancing by donk 3 betting sets as well in this spot its ok.

based on the other hands from this guy he does look bad though.

are you reading the action right on pokerbob's hand, geormiet?

reshef c/r/c the flop, and c/r the turn...there is no donk/3b
