the one i played was incredibly soft. it was on day 1c, so it was a lot of day 1a/1b bustouts playing.

Great post but I think there's one mistake. The bellagio website only has info for Bellagio Cup II, which was last year. This year it overlaps a lot with the wsop if I remember right. I think it starts June 10, and has 1500-5000 buyins everyday at 1pm and 1k buyins everyday at 8pm. The ME is a WPT event, can't remember exactly when it is.

Nope. Here it is on their website. YOu have to click on Poker Room first, not the tournaments listed in the drop down. It'll be the first one linked on the page. I have Bellagio's site because you can't link directly to any specific page. They have changed the dates since I posted this as well. The dates, schedule, and buy ins were in fact the sames ones I posted above. The new dates are below. It looks like they had the old schedule posted from last year under the Cup III page by mistake.

Thank you for the help. I copy/pasted to a quote above and completely forgot about CP. I thought the schedule looked kind of wierd with it running after the WSOP instead of during it but the dates did in fact say 2007 the first time I gathered the info above. Must have changed it yesterday or today as I did this post on another forum 2 days ago.

I really like the look of Binion's tourney series. Lots of different games, obv. aimed at smaller stakes players so fields should be pretty soft and smaller compared to the Venetain, and seems like you get plenty of play. The $500 w/ 10k starting stacks seem great.
