6/12 kill pot

this particular table players loosen up during kill pot

two limpers, kill is in the CO (acts last) button folds
Hero completes sb Qs 5s (ehh.....)
BB raises, everyone calls, i call

flop Q9K one spade
HERO checks
BB bets, everyone calls i call
turn a 9, checked around

river an 8
HERO (?)

another hand.....

villian plays almost every hand, likes to bluff

villian limps UTG, folds to HERO OTB
HERO raises Ah 7h, blinds fold

If the 7 wasn't a club, I like betting ok, but tend to just check readless. Since the 7 was a club, a fair amount of his range got there, or already had us (88,99) and he often won't call with a worse hand,I like checking. I think our hand is prob good, but not a favorite when called, and he isn't often folding a better hand either.

edit: it's tempting to try to get value here, and I often will out of 33, 44, 55, or an idiot who thinks he might win with his 2 pair + ace kicker, but I want some kind of read before going to valuetown on this river.
