Colts outplayed the Pats in my opinion. I am not sure how we came away with a victory. The Colts are far better than I had them pegged.
Looking forward to SB 41 1/2

Bolded is correct. The difference in the Pats and Colts stats thus far has been largely schedule. Pats had a better gameplan today though, also, Peyton picked a great day to suck a dick.

edge-

now that the pats have HUMBLED the colts, i am offering you a SE survivor...do you accept?

lol, you're such a joke

[/ QUOTE ]

im actually not, but i can see why you would say i am.

i am extremely rational when it comes to sports, i just abhor 'fans' like edge. pestering them during game threads while they act like delusional 5 yr olds who ear foam fingers and game jerseys makes me happy. i am immature, no doubt.

Meh, as long as you know who you are I really don't care.

Yeah, I'd bet money on any 2007 team beating any team from 30 years ago.

I was more or less thinking of the Cowboys and 49ers of the 90's.

Indy had two more first downs.
Two more total yards.
32 seconds more of possession they obviously completely outplayed the Pats.

[/ QUOTE ]

Indy played great, but take away the the fluky huge TD by Addai and the huge BS Hobbs penalty and Indy doesnt have much.

I do think the Pats play calling was too conservative early.

anyways the Pats are a better team but I would be happy to not see the Colts again

I don't think you can put this loss on Manning at all. That fumble was Indy O-line's fault.

Schedule? The Pats and Colts schedule hasn't been all that different in terms of difficulty.

Was anybody else hoping that Brady would do a fake kneel-bomb to Moss at the end?

Yeah, me neither.

Great game. No way the Colts outplayed the Pats. These are two top five all time teams. I can't wait for the rematch in the playoffs.

[/ QUOTE ]

no they aren't. in fact, they're probably not close to all-time teams. it's just that the salary cap and free agency has leveled the field a great deal.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT. I don't think either of these teams could compete with the great pre-salary cap teams.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFno, because modern day players are a lot better.

[/ QUOTE ]

dunno about a 'lot' better, they certainly are.

but in terms of having HOF players, older teams are simply going to have more in their prime.

Colts did nothing in the first half, hucking the ball and getting crappy PI calls is far from dominating. If one of those does not get called, its 14 or 21-3 Pats early. The Colts with every advantage in this one blew it. They are a DOME TEAM still and I look forward to watching you tards freeze your butts off in January...if you can get by Tennessee.
