Although it doesn't do Boz the honour he deserves, I kinda like Whale Tail For The Lose.

Been playing super tight because of being card dead. I thought He had a king, or a flush draw, I was a little suprised when he turned his hand over.

Default SoCal Cardrooms

OK, the bennyhana family is heading to Newport Beach for Spring Break. We are renting a house on the beach and I'm wanting to play some poker on one of our free nights. Any suggestions from you SoCal boys as to where to go, and what limits/skill level I may be running into?

I was looking at the Bike/Commerce compared to Oceans 11. When I get to CA I am completely lost, but according to Google maps, Oceanside is loke 51 miles from where we are, and The Bike is 38. Is there anywhere closer? I also noticed the city of Compton near the Bike. Is that a bad part of town, like I might come back without hubcaps, or should I not believe the hype?

I probably wont go play till like 9pm, are these places open all night like Vegas?

Thanks.

Go to Commerce. You're kind of in no man's land there but I think Commerce is your best bet. The closest place would be Hawaiian Gardens but it's pretty meh. The play at any place in SoCal is pretty horrible, and if it isn't you can just change tables. Commerce (and all the casinos) are open 24 hours, but you can only drink until 2am.
