Default PokerStars Data Mining

I've recently saw posts of huge player databases of over 10 million hands, wich was clearly gathered from observed hand histories.

How do I collect observed hand histories from PokerStars, is there a software to enable this? Thanks.

yeah, using the same, works great

you also don't even have to log in to use it so pstars won't say anything to you b/c they dont know who u are

I should add something. "pstars won't say anything to you b/c they don't know who u are" That is sort of incorrect. When you open Pstars it makes a connection with their server. Your IP is certainly registered there. They certainly know that you ahve 80 tables up and are not playing. Now from my experience they have not done anything, but don't be fooled, they do know.

Do you open all tables manually?

Yeah you do have to open the tables manually. If you want to mine for an extended period of time you have to keep checking the tables, because they will close over time. Example: start 50 or 60 tables before you go to bed, you'll have 15-20 by the time you wake up....

yeah, but its tiring to check the tables manually. There seems to be a tool wich will handle opening and closing of your tables automatically, www.mixed-harvesters.com
but havnt tried it.
