Hero raises to $14

Its at this point where you need to make the decision "Do I win if I end up all in with TPTK here".
If you are raising then you are making a big pot - you dont want to make a big pot then fold.
If you call you can keep the pot a little smaller on the flop, you also have position so thats reason to keep the hand going rather than fold them out now.

I cant think what hands cold call your big raise PF - perhaps QQ,AK? He may be trapping with AA.
You are hoping that he has KQ or KJ, I suppose that is possible.

As played I just call the turn and hope to showdown for as little as possible.
I call a small bet on the river, if he shoves then its a tough decision but probably a call given the pot odds.

If you call turn, you only have about $18 behind right?
Is anybody else with me when I say shove here?

i think by the laws of general pot geometry, if we are going to raise the flop (albiet, id raise a bit bigger, ~17), we have to b stacking off here most of the time.

Yeah looking at the stack sizes your 100% commiting yourself by calling the turn anyhow.

The point is that the direction of the hand was shaped on the flop - if your raising that flop you should be happy to get all in so in that case shoving is fine.

TPTK in a three bet pot with an SPR of 2. BB's stats are a little worrisome, though, and I can't really think of any hands that you're beating which he's liable to have in a 3-bet pot. Raising the flop definitely commits you, though. There's no raise/fold here. So once you get there, shove the turn.

This note is irrelevant since it's not a stealing situation.
