Default Sneezing out of line of sight

Should people who say "bless you" after you sneeze be shot in the face if they are not within your line of sight when you sneeze? Eg, your sneeze is audible but invisible.

omfg after telling me "bless you" a minute ago, the vegetative gerbil of a secretary we have here just sneezed and said "bless me" to herself and no one else. I am definitely going to kill her now.

saying "bless you" to yourself is lame, but i don't see what hte big deal about saying it to someone you can't see is, even though i don't do it...

if this kind of stuff bothers you then you must be wound up really tight...

"Bless you" is a superstitious, antiquated
tradition. We don't go to the barber anymore
for surgery, so is it OK to kill this phrase?

I actually use "SALUD!", which is the Spanish equivalent of "bless you". More importantly it's non-denominational, I don't want people to mistakenly think I believe in god.

As for OP, I don't care. I generally say it as a courtesy but don't concern myself with "line of sight" or whatever. This is life, not a game of Splinter Cell.

I bet the blesser from the OP was really annoying and a candidate for being shot in the face prior to the out of sight "bless you". OP, am I right?
