Villain is a new multitabler with a SNGicons logo, so he's aware that's it's a skill game.

I think I could find a fold here. But I seriously doubt I'd put enough thought into it to get there ingame.

i raise flop and go broke. 99-QQ is gonna push preflop, and AA/KK might reraise/push prelfop as well. so i think you are good on flop.

Hmm what is that 200 bet on flop? i really don't get it, that flop can't have helped him so hes most likely on highcards if he didn't reraise preflop. I raise 1200 and see what happens.

I also wonder what sort of "skill game" is that 1/6 pot donk bet?

This hand is really interesting. I probably call just to be able to piece together his thinking.

My gut feeling street by street...

Pre-flop, villain's range is probably pretty wide now that he's safely in the money not facing a big raise.

Post flop, I put villain on a draw or small piece. It seems quite often that players make these defensive bets with draws hoping you missed or to get a cheap card.

On turn, he's either still drawing or hoping to check raise. In this spot, I bet half the pot to charge a draw. If I'm check-raised, I'm out. The other reason for a bet is to prevent him from bluffing the river when you show weakness with a check on the turn. If he calls then checks the river, check behind. You've kept the pot size under control.

On river, he either thinks you aren't strong enough to call his all-in bet (stealing) or hoping you're strong enough to call what looks like a bet that doesn't want a call.

I'd love to know if you called and if so, what he turned over.

Would he really bluff 2x the pot? That just seems totally unnecessary. Why not bet 1/2 his stack?

Exactly. If he's bluffing he's completely insane, given that a 9 will almost always call. Which is always possible that he's insane, but not that likely. You haven't shown any strength since preflop. Why would he think he can bluff you off an overpair or something? This smells like a flush, praying you have a 9.

The only reason I would probably call ingame is I tend to go crazy itm. It's hard for me to imagine ever laying down a set. But this is one spot where I think it makes sense.

I like raising and going broke on the flop. As played we have to fold the river.
