Fink, looking forward to your posts this year. If it wasn't for you, I'd have no reason to have any clue about the NFC!
First impressions, GB too high, Atl too low. Other than that I can't really argue because I don't know enough. |

[ QUOTE ]
There is also a few paragraphs in the Chicago section explaining that quarterbacks who have hot starts and then fade (Romo, Grossman) rarely rebound much. They tend to be mediocre permanently. [/ QUOTE ] This seems to be based on next to nothing. |

[ QUOTE ] 1-15. everybody but green bay 16. green bay, there isn't a single game on the first half of their schedule where they should be the favorite and they are headed for a 2-14 season. [/ QUOTE ] Aren't you a Packers fan? Are you leveling or just trying to lower your expectations or what? Green Bay is gonna be good! Get excited! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! BRETT FAVRE! [/ QUOTE ] yes, I am a Packers fan, and I am being completely serious. The packers did absolutely nothing to get better this offseason and let some players slip away that they shouldn't have. Please tell me which games in their first 8 you would put them as a favorite in. I see 0. I see 1-2 games the entire season that I would put them as a favorite in. The packers are not going to be good with an above average defense and a horrible, barely should be considered nfl-caliber, turnover-prone offense. |

I'd like to believe the Giants will be better (or worse), but there's no indication they will be either. |

Re: PokerFink\'s 2007 NFC Rankings (Preseason)
MeB,
games the packers will definitely be favored in Vs. detroit @detroit Vs Oakland Vs minnesota The one thing that the packers have going for them is that all their toughest games are at home, Vs. philly, san diego, chicago, washington, carolina; the only tough game they have on the rode is denver (and maybe minnesota if you like their chances). Green bay's schedule 1 Sun, Sep 9 Philadelphia 2 Sun, Sep 16 at NY Giants 3 Sun, Sep 23 San Diego 4 Sun, Sep 30 at Minnesota 5 Sun, Oct 7 Chicago 6 Sun, Oct 14 Washington 7 BYE WEEK 8 Mon, Oct 29 at Denver 9 Sun, Nov 4 at Kansas City 10 Sun, Nov 11 Minnesota 11 Sun, Nov 18 Carolina 12 Thu, Nov 22 at Detroit 13 Thu, Nov 29 at Dallas 14 Sun, Dec 9 Oakland 15 Sun, Dec 16 at St. Louis 16 Sun, Dec 23 at Chicago 17 Sun, Dec 30 Detroit |

Re: PokerFink\'s 2007 NFC Rankings (Preseason)
Good rankings, and this is semi off-topic. Would anyone like to do AFC Rankings with me? I don't have much extra time to do a full write up like this, but if someone would like to do it with me, and maybe split the write ups or whatever. Would love to do an AFC section to go along with NFC, and then if me/whoever helps/ pokerfink have time, do an all NFL ranking after each week. You can PM me if you'd like to help
