% of time he shoves river when checked to > % of time he hero calls, like pudge said.

okay, I wasn't sure whether registrar meant the turn or riv but rereading it made it more obvious...

having said that, the reason why I shove the river is that our line looks just enough like diamonds to prevent a bunch of those bluffs, where if we *tank* shove, he'll sometimes hero call some really bad hands and def call his better hands.

or you could snap shove if you think reverse psychology would work better instead, heh

I don't know about shove and I am not sure about timing, but I think you have to bet the river with the nuts. I think villain probably has a hand he wants to show down, and the chance that he will check behind is high.

oh and I think I probably tank shove riv

I don't like that because he is lot more inclined to make crazy bluffs than hero calls.

I agree with Pudge here. I'm not sure he really expects an unknown to ever check a flush here, though at this point i'm not sure what he puts Ansky on. Either way, he likely knows it's not a very strong two pair or set since he'd get raised on turn so he may very well try a big bluff on the river.

Check-shove ftw IMO.

I think given the description of the villain he is betting a larger portion of his range when checked to than calling a river lead.....plus the bonus of him calling a c/r x% when holding a flush.

bet 2.3k flop. Makes your next decision way easier plus it might look a lil weaker than 1.2k if he thinks you're thinking.

check/call turn obviously

river: go for another "smallish" v-bet. He never hero calls a shove. I doubt he shoves the river since he probably has at least some showdown value. The weak river lead could look to him like a bet/fold play by you. IMO, the only way leading river is <EV than CRAI river is if he has a flush-which seems possible given the way the hand played.

Has anyone mentioned what he perceives your range to be? You're a sweating unknown who raised utg and called his preflop rr...88-JJ, AJ+

You lead the flop and c/c the ace turn. Can he rule out 77 (you may not raise 77 utg anyways) by your turn action? Would you reraise your set? What would you be check calling with? AK, draw and possibly 77 look likely.

Draw gets there on river so I would assume he only bets if he thinks you weren't drawing.

just call pre after getting 3bet, lead out on flop and shove vs a raise, turn i c/c because ace is v good card for him to bluff turn with and he is obv very aggro, river i think i like a weak donk lead to make ur hand look weak hand ur trying to just block with idk maybe check-shove is better but the thing is i dont think hes anymore unlikely to bluff when u weak lead as opposed to when u check and also u get him to just call with his weak hands that he mighta just check behind on river.
