Default KJo missed everything tried to bluff river.

My opponent hadn't done to much so I don't really have a read on him, by this time we are about 20-30 hands into tourney. I hadn't seen him play all those hands because he got moved to our table after around 10 hands. I didn't think he had a T or a 9 and believed that I made a good move on the river. I put him on something like a 4 or a smaller PP, I thought that I might also get a 9 to fold. Thoughts?

Pf raise is ridiculous, just fold your hand sucks. If you want to attribute it to your style, or mix it up or something, then raise hands that aren't so easily dominated.

I'm not sure your line is very believable. I don't even see what you're trying to represent here...slowplayed TT? I don't mind taking a stab on the turn with a gutshot and 2 overs, and no one looking very interested in the pot, but I really just don't see what the river bet is trying to represent. I mean maybe he's not good, and you just figured he'd see big river bet and think "he must have a hand" without thinking through all the action. However, if he's bad, he's just as likely to think I have 2 pair so I should call. If villain is a good player then this doesn't look believable, and if he's a bad player then there's no guarantee he can fold anything. A smaller river bet would fold a busted flush draw....I just really don't care much for this play.

I'm not sure what your trying to represent. I also dont like the check on the flop.. the flop doesnt look like something to have hit your opponents, I probably bet 1/2 the pot here.

If your opponent does have a T in his hand, you picked up 10 outs on the turn (gutshot + 2 overs). Since he called the turn, I'd probably dump the hand on the river unimproved.

I fold preflop.

Since you didn't, you have to bet the turn.

Betting the turn isn't too bad, but you have to fold the river unimproved.

so you are repping exactly 99 here?

You're getting called by a ten here always and 4 thru 88 a lot.

This works if the turn is an over to the board not and under.

Some people are saying to fold KJo preflop which is the more standard play. It's not automatic though, if you want to raise it's fine. It's not a great play but it's not terrible.
But in regards to the postflop action: You have no information on the player you are making a play at and he has position on you. That is not good. I reserve plays like this when I've got a more solid feel for the player I'm against and think it will have a high success rate.
