truthfully my receiver depth is nice, just so inconsistant:

Steve Smith
Lee Evans
Curtis
Crayton

It would be nice to have someone that performs every week, hence Moss

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think that much depth, and everyone one of your guys is a big day or nothing kinda guy. Steve Smith takes a big hit in value with Carr starting for awhile. I'd try and get Moss.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well that's very 1/4 results oriented. On paper at season's start Smith+Evans would be as good a tandem as you can dream up. But yes up till now I agree that it's not as good as I could have.

Okay, I have Kenny Watson. With the bye and Rudi possibly coming back, I think I'll drop him. These guys are all avaialable. Who to grab?

[/ QUOTE ]

Get Ward in a flash, very surprising that he is available.

Yeah, he's on waivers for some reason (someone needed a D and dropped him). I'm 6th, so I probably don't get him though. Is Young a better option than Watson?

In a small 6 team league and qb is my weakest position. I have McNabb as my #1, who is off this week. Last week I dropped Leinart and picked up Young.

So my options are to keep what I have and start Young vs Atl, or use one of my weaker bench spots to pick up Schuab vs Miami off waivers. Schuab has been puttin up yards even though he is missing his 2 starting wrs, with the possibility of A Johnson coming back this week or next.

So keeping in mind I need a backup qb for the season, and one to start this week, should I bother grabbing Schuab?

Sort of an intriguing trade proposed to me that I don't think I'll take...

I give up: Tom Brady, Larry Johnson
I get: Matt Schaub, Joseph Addai, Steve Smith

My current lineup (QB,RBx2,WRx2,TE,K,D Yahoo H2H league)

QB Tom Brady
RB LJ
RB Cedric Benson
RB Deangelo Williams
RB Ernest Graham
RB Kenny Watson
WR Andre Johnson
WR Vincent Jackson
WR Derrick Mason
WR Dwane Bowe
WR Shaun McDonald
TE Jason Witten
K Stover
DEF New England

I'm 2-2 now and surviving on Brady, Witten, and NE with everyone else putting together at least a mediocre effort. The trade drops me way down in QB but potentially improves me quite a bit in RB and WR (assuming LJ continues to be unfamiliar with the endzone and anybody but Carr starts for Carolina so Smith gets good again).

I say no and trust that LJ becomes a TD machine, Brady continues to be a fantasy god, and whatever recieving core I scrape together does some work to support them.

What do you think?

Just thinking...if I could counter with Benson in LJ's place, does that make this trade more attractive if it's close?

Fair trade? Brady and Bush for Addai.
