10k is a low buyin for him. I still don't get his call, tho.

It is standard to call a push from the blinds when you raise from the button with AJo. In this case the push was an overbet, which might indicate a decent hand, but people don't usually play big pairs that way. There is some possibility villain is restealing with a weaker ace, suited connector or something. With the overbet, I would be a little worried about AK/AQ or maybe an underpair.

So possibly you are a little ahead, every one in a while you are way ahead, and most of the time you are slightly or way behind. For all your chips, facing a big overbet, in pretty much a nothing pot, early in a deep, slow-structured tournament where you figure to have a huge skill advantage.

Leave it to a reporter to always qualify their statements even to the point of absurdity.
