Default NL25 - AK UTG vs post flop reraise by MP villain

Does anyone get away from this?

No reads on villain - new to table.

As played I thought I was ahead of villains possible range (felt AA, KK, 44 were unlikely based on pre-flop betting, put vilain on Ax or possible draw) - so after villains reraise I felt good about going ahead and committing to the hand. Only thing I though was maybe my flop bet should have been bigger.

Comments/opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

I felt this everytime. Flop bet could've been a bit bigger but you're still pricing out draws. NH.

Edit: Wow, I didn't even see villain was so short when I posted. I'd felt everytime for 100+ BB so this makes it a non-decision for 40BB.

There's nothing to get away from. You flopped top two and unknown has 40BB. I go broke for 100BBs here.

Nh. Villain will show you some really strange holdings here, especially for 40BB.
