it's posts like those by a nonymous that make 2p2 so much better than it otherwise could be.

once upon a time, idiocy was given short shrift here at 2p2. now it is more common, and making 2p2 like every other forum on the internet - full of bad thinking muppets.

I think the question you need to ask is why does Full Tilt have their policy on multiple accounts. Most likely to avoid players from bonus whoring, getting rake back when they did not have it on their main account? None of these apply to PA. Seriously, high rollers get special treatment everywhere, go to a casino and see a high roller having their room comped or reserved seats and what not.. Why does this surprise anyone? This is a business and you need to accomidate your big spenders, go stick over a mil on your account and then demand to have a multiple account, if they deny you, then post about it.. Otherwise just accept it.

lol, just got this pm from jeff329:

title: moron

"its posts like yours that make 2+2 so much worse than it could be...if you are not interested in something, instead of bumping it with your moronic comments, DONT READ IT "

I just wanted to make sure the thread included this important response.

Why are you still here? Seriously. Did you have your second account closed or something?

[/ QUOTE ]

You do understand that "PM" means PRIVATE MESSAGE???

Obviously jeff was addressing you, not the forum and thats why he PM'd you. Show some etiquette man.

[/ QUOTE ]
I assume this is a joke, and, if so, lol.

But you almost sound serious, and, if so, lol.

I doubt he was, and I don't know what's with all the lol'ing. Although it was a pretty stupid PM, posting PM's is generally frowned upon. Don't get me wrong, I'm not losing any sleep over it, as this thread's pretty silly...but generally speaking, posting PMs isn't cool.

when people are saying "multi accounting", do you mean making a new username by yourself and transferring money to it, or using someone else's identity (like a friend) to make a legit account and then transfer money to that and play it? if it is the second, how can that be proved?

I agree with this. The thing I was thinking about was the post in SillySal's thread about 3 accounts having similar stats, thats why I was thinking FT closed her account and seized funds due to her multi-accounting. Has it actually been confirmed her account was closed due to "botting"?

Freerolls are there so that people can get a taste of online poker, hopefully they win some money and begin regularly generating rake for the site.

Scum like you abuse bonuses and other freebies like the freerolls.

Yes. She posted the email she received from FT, and it was for botting. I can't remember how they phrased it, something about illegal AI software, but it amounts to the same thing.

Usually when FT catches someone who opened a second account for RB, they close the second account and transfer the money back to the first. I've never heard of anyone having money seized at FT for opening a second account. I suppose they might if someone was using multiple accounts to cheat, but I've never heard of it.
