Default Worst run of cards ever? 4/8Live

Played for 2 1/2 hours last night at Bellagio. I saw exactly one river, and that was a checkdown. I had virtually no playable hands--ATs twice, neither time going past the flop. 44 and 88 were the only pairs I had, and folded the 44 to a raise, flopped the set and would have lost on the river.

Recently, we had a thread that asked about waiting for cards. This is the life of a full-time player. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Sometimes it can get very frustrating, esp when one of the players gets AA 3 times in a half hour.

I played for 17 hours and got AA 0 times.

I got KK and QQ once.

I still won (not a lot though, only 10 BB), and played the best I ever had in a live session.

Folding sucks, but it's +EV, and that's why we play=).

Is it a worse feeling have good starting cards, play them well and lose, lose, lose.

Yes.

It's ugly, but its not even close. When I was single tabling, I once went a little over 100 hands without seeing a flop. But that can't even be the worse run of cards ever, because I ended up winning that session, when the deck turned around at the end of the session.

It was a good game, too, with donks calling in EP with 89o and any two suited will do.

Second best sucks, but not getting any cards at all is worse, I think. You're paying blinds to see 62o. I was down $141 without playing. Ish.

And my fingers were BLUE from the crappy $1 Bellagio chips.

i played live for 7 hours last night and the only pp's i got were 44 and 66. i did get AK a few times and AQ once, though. woohoo! oh, and it helps to finish up 60bb's to help ease the burden of not catching premium hands pf. oh, and this was NL so it's sort of different anyway. glad i could be here to help!

HAH! Getting cold decked (second best hands) is MUCH worse than getting nothing and folding. Also, 2.5 hours is less than 100 hands. That's nothing. Haven't played live much I take it?
