I even see this effect at my live card room. There will be four 6/12 tables running, they call me and plop me down at one, and my scouting says it's the worst. I put in for a move to "the best", and find out that I'm 3rd on the list to move to that table....and I know the two guys moving over, and they're both "better than average". Sure enough, by the time I get there, the table isn't nearly as tasty as when I first "scouted" it.

If two good players leave your current table, why not pass on your table change? Sometimes it only takes one bad player to liven up a table.
