Re: Very good then very bad then back to v v v good
So tonight I drive up to Davis and meet up with 2+2er friend (Justin) and his gf. We go over to his friend's place to pre-party; I called my date (let's call her Emily) and she said she was gonna be at his friend's place too, and as it turns out we pull up right at the same time and meet at the door. I give her a hug but don't really do/say much else as we go in, and then it turns out that everyone's about to leave to go to the party anyway so just like that we're on our way out. I meet up with Emily again over at the party and talk to her for a little bit and then go hang out with others. The house is suuuuuper crowded which doesn't help my plan at all of trying to make out w/ her since I don't want to just bust out with it in front of everyone she knows when she may or may not care if they see her making out with some dude.
Eventually I'm talking with Justin outside and Emily walks up to us with a friend. Justin + friend walk off, and I tell Emily I want to talk to her about something and take her hand. I lead her around the corner to the less-trafficked side of the house, and as she turns the corner I go in for a kiss. goofyballer = smooth! I think it kinda eased a little tension too. People were occasionally walking by though since it connected the garage with the backyard, and she said she didn't want people to see us kissing because she makes an effort to keep her private life private. However, we do make out several more times over the course of the night.
After the party me + Emily + Justin + his gf + friend all go to IHOP. Afterwards, we're separating into cars, and the friend is like "Emily you should go with goofyballer" and of course I'm down with this. Emily drove from Sac and her car is in front of the pre-party-friend's place so she needs a ride over there, and Justin + gf need a ride back to gf's place. The two of them had come with me but they went with the other friend to get back, and I took Emily back to her car. I bugged her about letting me stay the night at her place but she wasn't having any of it; a bunch of crap like her room is dirty (dubious), she has a lot of stuff to do tomorrow and she can't have me distracting her (true). I told her I'm not expecting anything sex-wise (more tactfully obv) and she said she knows, so I guess she just isn't quite ready. I hope she lets me stay over after our date tomorrow if only cause it's a bad, bad sign for how quickly things are going to progress if she doesn't.
Anyway, we kiss goodnight several times and she's on her way. Kinda sucks cause Justin's at his gf's so not much else for me to do but whatever, I'm crashing at his place, and me and Emily have our date tomorrow night!
