Default Middle of Tourney hand question. Please help.

Okay, I will give you a little background first:

PS $3 rebuy tourney. 3.5 hours deep in tourney. Blinds were 800/1600 antes were 150 I think. I have 41,000 in chips and avg. is at 56,000

I am in late middle p. and guy to my right limps in for 1600. I have pocket 10's and decide to raise the bet to 6000. Guy to my immediate left on the cutoff raises all in with about 22,500. All fold back to me.

Here is my question. In this situation, I do not have any info on the guy to my left who made the huge raise all in. He just got moved to my table one revolution earlier. He is short stacked and probably looking for a race to double up. I am getting 2 to 1 odds here to call this down. If I lose the hand, I am virtually crippled and then also looking for a push situation. On one hand a raise following a raise usually indicates strength and he is wanting a call. On the other, he could just be on a resteal using his unknown image. Knowing these things. Are my pocket 10's enough to call here getting 2 to 1 odds? Or should I be looking for a better situation?

Any information is helpful.

Thanks!!
Mark

I would say that readless, you shouldn't assume a re-steal.. that said, I think you should probably call, you havce a very good hand and are ahead of some of his 3-bet range.

If you put him on something like 99+ AQ+ I think you have more than the odds you need. I'll pokerstove this when I get home, but I think at 2:1 I think you have to be good here.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 55.745% 54.78% 00.96% 354590964 6216198.00 { 99+, AQs+, AQo+ }
Hand 1: 44.255% 43.30% 00.96% 280227552 6216198.00 { TT }

I think with his M about 5 the 3-bet range is very tight - so imo this is a very easy call

Well I can tell you work almost as hard as me from all the posts you make!

Thanks for that. I think you are right, that range is pretty tight, but as you say, its a call even with that range so you have to call here.
