dice
in my early years of high school, me and some buddies used to roll dice a lot, playing the game "4, 5 6" or whatever it was, but i have since forgotten to play and want to start up again with some friends because it was a lot of fun. i belive its played at inner city alley's and what not, let me know if ya'll know how to play.

I believe you're talking about a game known as "Ship-Captain-Crew" --
Three rolls, with a 6-5-4 to qualify. You can hold dice between rolls only in the order of 6-5-4 (eg can't hold 5 unless you have 6, etc). If you qualify, the two remaining dice are your score. Opponents are limited to the number of rolls taken by the first qualifier. |

I used to play it for quarters when I was a kid. We just called it 6-5-4, or just "dice."
We played it like SheetWise says, except everyone got 3 rolls (Unless they choose to stop earlier) |
