Join the PPA - Offer to Full Tilt Poker

A colleague of mine just sent me a copy of an email that he sent to FTP and asked that I post it here. I can also vouch for this person that he is of sound character and has the financial resources to follow through. Here is his email:

"How much have you people given directly to the PPA,
not counting these bonuses you are giving out?

I am a very high net worth individual, and have made a
lot of money from online gaming.

I will make you this offer:

I will donate 50 cents for every 1 dollar that Full
Tilt Poker has donated directly (not bonuses to
players for donating), to the PPA between January 17th
and February 22nd, 2007.

I would need a 3rd party corrorboration of your
donations during this period before I make my gift.

Note--I plan to post this email (as well as your
reply) on the PPA website, as well as a few poker
forums like twoplustwo, etc.

I'd rather have this individual start his own, NEW PPA type organization. Read the thread by 2p2 admins on the PPA for my reasons why.

I have been considering trying to start such a thing, but it would require a lot of support and a lot of presence to the powers that be (in the locations that these powers reside in as well).

Eh, just my 2 cents though. I'll keep thinking on it and try to come up with something that would actually BENEFIT the players.
