Playing heads-up while multi-tabling
Struggling playing heads-up at the end of turbos. I think I'm often content to just shove or call all-in pre-flop with medium hands because I have action on 8 other tables and it's tough to focus on heads-up play and get any reads. I don't think this is even that bad of a strategy given that it's usually no better than 10BB's deep heads-up, but I'm seeing far too many seconds lately. Suggestions?

Learn ICM for heads up or play less tables.

Re: Playing heads-up while multi-tabling
My suggestion would simply be when you multi-table play the same style of poker that requires a particular strategy.
Ex: Multi only HU or SNG or MTT @ the same time so your strategy doesn't need to change every table and it stays consistant through your session SHiP IT! |

Re: Playing heads-up while multi-tabling
Do you play continuous or in sets? Sets should be easier because you'll have fewer tables still open by the time you get to HU.
ITM play is a really important contributor to ROI - you can have a 40% ITM and an ROI ranging from ~5% to ~30% for that ITM depending on 1-3 finish distro. If you're having trouble playing short-handed with lots of tables open, play less tables. There is a sweet spot for ROI vs hourly rate when multi-tabling, and you need to find yours. |
