Can You Identify this Former President?

It seems an old daguerreotype (an early type of photograph) has been authenticated as that of a former President. It's an interesting piece of history.

Do you recongnize this President?

Hmmm...I'm not American and I know next to nothing about your presidents, but to me it looks like Lincoln without the beard and funny hat.

was thinking the same thing but couldnt place who I thought it was, when I read this it hit me that it so looks like him, same hair stype and exact eyes from that one famous picutre of him, looks alot younger though, maybe because there is no beard and what not
