Some comments:
1) Fold preflop if this is a tough spot for you. OOP and you hit the hand about as well as you could hope to and you're not sure what you think.
2) How is the flop action raising a 500 bet 700 to 1250? Shouldn't it be 1200?
3) The flop check-raise is pretty bad if Ozzy's as good as people seem to say he is (and is bad in general)
4) You probably should have led the turn and not let Ozzy get free cards in case he's on a draw. Also, this way you don't let him play pot control if he has AA or AK.
5) Given that you checked and he bet, it's an easy check-raise all in.
6) Sorry he had KK. Better luck next time.

aba onviously i respect your opinion but why do you hate the flop raise i wanted to get an idea of where i stood and then re-evaluate the turn

Raising for information against good players out of position on drawy boards is a very very bad idea.

You're probably a good player, but this reasoning is the fuddled type of reasoning you often see in NL50 hands and wouldn't expect to see in NL5K posts. What info did you even get when he called your raise? You hit top two pair on the turn and still didn't know where you were...
