I usually go out 3-4 days a week and get drunk, and have a beer or 2 on another 1 or 2 days of the week. The only people I consider alcoholics are the ones that get blacked out and retarded every time/ most of the time they drink.

Yeah this seems standard. I wouldn't worry unless it's seriously affecting your life, but you're in college so you can't be doing too much damage.

I drink most every day, I usually have a beer or two. Sometimes I get drunk, not weekly but probably once every couple of weeks. "Drunk" is hard to define though, since I can have six to eight beers without being visibly intoxicated (unless you're a cop...)

Yea I know, I went to some sort of alcohol class when I got a drinking ticket for being underage. They say lots of things. But my drinking doesn't really affect me negatively, ie missing classes, screwing up relationships, and stuff like that (obviously my liver doesn't like it). But I think drinking is a ton of fun, therefore a do it a good amount.

I was thinking about this - I know people who I would consider functioning alcoholics, becuase they go to class/write papers drunk.
