I don't see why he can't have a 2. X2s, where they're spades, or X gives a pair/straight draw on flop.
Anyways, given that you checked behind turn, the only hands where I think you can call are when you have a 2. But if I ever checked turn with 76, I'd call with it. I'd call with Q2+.
