Default UB Bad Beat Jackpot/ Math question

Okay, so I'd like to continue to play on UB for rakeback/home site/etc. (I know they generally suck in terms <fill in the blank&gt

At the bbj table they take $.50 out of every pot. Assuming you don't ever win the jackpot, how much better would one have to run bb/100 to play those tables at 1-2NL. I have no idea how many pots I win an hour on avg, but I'm in between sort of LAG most of the time.

My point is that it seems that very few players, even normally profitable ones, would be able to beat the rake/bbj.

Well, I don't play much NL, but as a rough guess. In 100 hands, assuming maybe 70 get the drop (it's only if it sees a flop, right?). Then there's $35 dropped per 100 hands. That's ~9 PTBB/100. So if you win 1 out of 9 hands, the BBJ costs you 1 PTBB/100.

yeah and at the 6 man tlbs its probably even higher. thanks. So shave 1.5 off the bb/100. what a joke.

This is is countered somewhat by the fact that fish like jackpots and they tend to play even looser because of them.

depending on your gamestyle (i play a 20/17 game) you pay ~4ptbb/100 on rake (thats INSANE) + ~1,5 - 2 ptbb/100 bbj contribution. thats around 20$/100 hands. played there too, did the math
