Ok basically when you play KK or AA in a reraised pot you don't usually want to fold. By reraising preflop you deny smaller pairs the implied odds to hit their set. Therefore if you get it all in after the flop you will be taking the best of it in the long run.

If you feel really lost in these spots then the obvious solution would be to reraise even more preflop. Making it $4 or even $5 to go commits you on practicaly any flop without an ace so you can get all in with far more confidence.

Yea I agree... go ahead and jack this pot up to $4-$5 and if its not Ace high on the flop u can probably look to get this in on the flop! We can probably rule out JJ and QQ here... so its probably AJ or 99(dunno why he'd straight shove the flop with a set)... I probably get it in here and deal with the consequences bc I bet this is AJ

Villian was utg and he raised pf, u re-reraised and he flat called. Given his stats u can only be beating QQ,1010 and AJ right now. Given the action on the flop I would have to make the crying call and not be surprised to see villian show up with JJ. I reccomend not be results oriented though as u will win with KK on this flop more than u will lose. U probably lose here though Post results later?

He had 99... as I said, it's seems, at these stakes, that most push are the nuts or at least very strong. I'm looking at all my biggest losers in NL 25 and most of them are with overpair all in on the flop against a set.

Villians min raise UTG is interesting. When we make a pot size reraise, he has still has good odds to set mine. Is reraising to $5-6 a standard play here? I hadn't really thought about this before. Should Hero start min raising hands like 22-66/67s in early position?

This is 25NL so UTG raised 4x the BB...that might change your perspective on the hand
