Default Atlantic City 10/25 and/or higher games

Hey,

I was wondering what you guys think of the ATL 10/25 games (I assuem they only go at the Borgata). I played on Saturday night and found the game to be rather easy. I did hit cards but ended up $4,000 in 3 hours. They had a main game and must move going causing us to be short (playing 7 most of the night).

What do you guys think of the competition? I think it is definitly easier than 5.10 online.

Also, how often do they run higher games such as 25/50 (on Sat. they had a list of interest)?

the Taj's is now spreading 5-10-20 a bit different with three blinds, it creates preflop action.
The game goes on sunday to thursday, the rake is just $12 per hour. Real soft game with only one top notch player, named joe moon.He is the only pro.
check it out.

i know joe moon, have played with him before, he told me that the Taj game is a joke, worse than borgata so he says, he plays nosebleed limit games like stud most of the time but he is a very competent nl player. Ive played 10/20 at a few other place but not borgata b/c its uncapped, its gets real deep and i wish i had the roll to buy in to that game for like 20k (what most of the regs do)- they get huggggggge donators to play in that game very frequently. those are ur best bets for 10/20 and above.

OLDCAPTAIN:

I normally play at the Borgata but that 5/10/20 game sounds really interesting.

Is it me, or have the high limit games seemed to spread out since last summer. After the Borgata opened their new room the Taj only spread 2/5 and places like the Showboat 1/2. Now you go and the Taj has this new game and even the Showboat gets a 5/10 game going.

Interesting.

Also, thanks Cap. I may head over there this weekend.

What is the buy-in for the 5/10/20 game at the Taj? Also, does this game ever run on Friday or Saturday?

THE BUY IN IS 1K TO 3K THE RACK IS JUST $12 PER HOUR.
a LOCAL PRO NAMED JOE MOON IS PRESENTLY THE BIG WINNER.
i WATCHED HIM PLAY A GUY LAST NIGHT AND HE APPEARED TO HAVE WON OVER 8K FROM THE PLAYER.

The 5-10-20 NL at the TAJ WAS FULL WITH A LISTS ON Monday night. The game was playing big. The standard raise was $100.00 PREFLOP. WITH 3 OR 4 PLAYERS TAKING THE FLOP.
lOOKS LIKE BIG BET POKER IS COMING BACK TO THE Taj's.
Also heard a rumor the Taj's will be giving free rooms on Tuesday night to any player in this game that played 10 hours the previous week in the game. Combine the free room with a rack of only $10.00 per hour, minus the $3.00 in comp points they give each hour for playing, seems like a good deal,if you can beat the game!!! Oh well maybe I will get to play against Joe Moon someday.Later,

Hey Captain,

Good to hear that the game was running again. However, explain to me one thing about the structure.

There is a $5 SB, a $10 BB, and finally the $20 lets just say biggest blind. Now, does that $20 blind have an option to raise or is this simply a "blind raise" that can only be checked.

It would be great if the $20 blind could also raise.
