I warn you that this will likely degenerate into a "celebs who look awful without makeup/airbrushing/have been caught in awkward moments" thread which is just way too unwieldly.

[/ QUOTE ] Good point. Please don't post these kinds of pics, or even pics of people who are just ugly. The thread is only about people whose publicist gets everyone to say they are beautiful, when they are objectively not. E.g. someone is a guest on Oprah, and is introduced as "the beautiful so and so."

This isn't the best example, but she's the first person that came to mind:
Hilary Duff  I don't get it. Pre and post-surgery she's a pretty average looking girl to me. In her hotness peer group, Amanda Bynes (who has a great body but her face is not amazing) has her dominated, as does Lohan. -Al

Uma Thurman. I will admit that she can clean up well for a shot here or there, but in general, she's a bug-eyed freakshow.
And I totally agree on SJP. She's better suited to selling feed bags than makeup.

i am 100% serious. she looks like a beautiful person....that has been beat in the face with a stick. i have always thought her face looks weird, no matter what amount of makeup/proactive she has on. she is nowhere near as beautiful as she is portrayed. i'm also only talking about her face. a lot of people disagree with me, and i admit it, so save it. BUT i have def. met people who agree with me.
