Default Re: BOTS on Absolute poker

So I decided to check up on the names listed here.

I found Katie85, melc8, lawflukeit, and hamil8 all 4 tabling the .10/.20 6 max tables. They play a tight, very aggressive game, didn't respond to chat, and could only be found at tables with 5 or 6 players. Plus, I saw Raiseurace and cat cool fitting the same description.

Unfortunately for them there aren't many others for them to play against so they are taking each other's money. In fact, right now the average plrs/flop in the .10/.20 games is lower than the 10/20 games.

I couldn't do the 3 handed-disconnect test because there are more than 3 suspected bots at all the active tables. Either way, it seems very odd that the .10/.20 games would be loaded with 4-tabling TAGs.

Default I Just Tested Swagdog And It Worked !!

I just tried this on Swagdog and it worked! At first I figured I would see if I could get him to chat.I noticed his location was from Burlington(I assumed Vermont) so I asked him if it was cold there. Then another player at the table said "He won't respond to you he is a bot". I then told the table about the sitting out trick. Two hands later we all sat out and just as the OP said would happen Swagdog left the table. I have played with a few of these names in the past and definately noticed that they played a very aggressive game for .10/.20. Thank you very much to the OP for the heads-up.

The thing that sucks is i don't have poker tracker, so i can't compare the stats with each other. But from what i seen, they win a little more then they lose. I am just glad someone tried it out lol. Thought i was going crazy or something. But if anyone suspects then at higher limits, and see simular stats on poker tracker, it wouldn't hurt to try the test out and give it feeback. I would love to know the higher limit bots. In case someone isn't clear on how to do the test, or i said something confusing about it, i can explain it in detail, my writing skills sometimes isn't up too par.

I agree with ya 100% heavily. It does scare me that a bot will be at every table at every site. I mean you will need to be an grandmaster poker player just to take a little money from them in the near future, because i bet in a few years the bots will be top of the line.
I mean i don't know how many of you play chess for example, but for those that do, do u thing u can beat that master computer program player? (not sure what it is called)

Also, the bots you speak of seem to always buy in for either $5 or $10, never the $2 minimum.
