I'm surprised Ed is OK with those google ads on his site. Right in the middle of every page you can find ads like these:



And right next to an image of the NPA is the worst of all


I haven't a clue how much you can make off those google ads. I imagine it must be pretty good money for Ed to splash this stuff all over his site.

I believe a website can either choose to have Google ads or not to have them. But, they can't decide on which ads make it on the site. Google picks out the ads based on the content of the site and the ad's target audience.

I believe a website can either choose to have Google ads or not to have them. But, they can't decide on which ads make it on the site. Google picks out the ads based on the content of the site and the ad's target audience.

Basically, you are right. But it is possible to block ads for any specific web site if you don't want their ads to be shown.
