How do you guys play 76 on that flop? Also, if you flat call how do you play not knowing what a scare card is?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd play it pretty much like I'd play 44 - there isn't a ton of difference between the two hands, although we have a few more options to improve with 76. I don't mind calling in these spots, as we have position on the turn. If he fires weak again, I might pop the turn intending get to showdown. If he fires stronger, I'd muck the turn. Regarding the question of what is a scare card, who knows. But your opponent doesn't really know what it is either, which gives us more of a hammer on the turn if we raise.

I'd be much happier with 78 on that flop, raising all day.

But again, folding the flop cannot be that wrong against an unknown. We're talking about a small pot where if we're behind, our equity is terrible. Even in position, trying to take a marginal hand like 44 to showdown versus something like 99 costs us a lot of bucks... well, it depends on the opponent of course, but we have no reads.

Karp,

You absolutely have to shove over the min raise on that flop.

Say my hand is A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] . Is it still a clear shove?

I don't like the way you play this hand.

Isolating with A6s is meh. It's not terrible. But lots of people limp stronger As. Also, raising will possibly push out some hands your really want in the pot. Weaker club hands. So, I'd over limp this hand usually.

As played, with stack sizes, I'd b/3-bet that flop.

i would usually just call pf, fold vs some ppl, but i dont hate a 3-bet that much. flop is a fold i think but after you float you have to shove the turn when he checks

I really don't think a big pair is out of the question. If he's a solid TAG, then certainly not air right?

Devin, once a solid TAG calls your reraise preflop then c/r's the flop, doesn't he almost have to have a big pair here? Unless you're pretty sure this guy can let a big overpair go I can't see floating the flop c/r, it's not like you can rep a 3 here.

Then again, I don't understand his turn check either considering how he played the rest of the hand.

I'm not saying your play is bad as much as admitting I have no idea what's going on in the hand in the hopes someone will walk me through the thinking.

Normally, at the limits I play I would either smooth call or fold preflop against a TAG depending on his AF.
