It tastes like a lime wine cooler with a splash of beer.

Stone Brewing Company makes some really good beers in my opinion. Ruination is a good DIPA (not the best on the market), Stone IPA is one of the best IPA's in my opinion. It's a microbrewery in CA.

Victory Brewing Company is located in PA. They have some good beers. Their Prima Pils is my current choice when I get a pilsner. It should be available in Cali.

The following I don't know about availability.

Bells Brewing Company (Michigan) makes a nice summer wheat beer, Oberon Ale. Very drinkable on a hot summer day.

Here are a couple other very popular breweries: Three Floyds (Indiana), Russian River (CA Brewery). Your best friend in your situation is a bottle shop where you can make your own 6-pack (provided they exist in CA). It allows you to try a lot of different beer for a fairly nominal price increase. Good luck finding something that you like.

I thought it'd be decent, like adding a lime to a Corona or something.

[/ QUOTE ]

What? This is nowhere near decent. This is exactly why I won't even try it- if it tastes anything like Corona with a lime...barf.

Leffe Blonde
Hoegaarden
Stella Artois

All are great Belgium beers.

I've always been a fan of Alaskan Amber as well.

Becks, and Grolsch are never a bad choice also.

Listen to this man. The brewary also has a bar next to it that serves some Bells Beer that you can't buy at the store. Definately a stop for anyone looking to have a drink in Kalamazoo.
