She's a plant. I'm pretty sure the coin sliding under the skin and being cut out is a standard magic gimmick you can buy from any magic supplier (certainly very similar to a standard needle-through-the-arm trick). Easy enough if he has a duplicate coin pre-prepared.

If she isnt a plant it'd still be possible but the shifting camera angles made it tough to see where he either:

a) switched coins before placing a dummy coin in his mouth or
b) retrieved the coin from his mouth after "swallowing it"

Loading it into his arm is easy enough.

If she's a plant, then it's pretty simple. He might as well have swallowed it. If she's not, I'm lost.

I think plant would be the simplest way. If she isnt though, it isnt that amazing - all he has to do is switch the coin she gives him for the coin he swallows. The moving camera angles make it hard to see where (or if) he does this, so we cant really tell whether it's a plant or not (though that would be my guess).

From my one run through half paying attention, he didnt bring his hands back to his mouth after 'swallowing' it, so the chances are the woman was a plant and there were duplicate coins.

The cutting it out of his skin is a really simple trick, im sure i dont need to touch on that.

yeah i was pretty sure that the layer of skin was fake, but i don't see how he switched the coin because it shows pretty clearly him putting the coin in his mouth showing the letters and his hands are nowwhere near his mouth.

so if its not a plant its still a pretty neat trick.
