Default I have a serious problem

I used to play poker for a living for almost two years. I played small games online which i regularly beat and crushed the local casino (a bunch of idiots who was playing for a lot of money).

I gave up my life as a "pro" half a year ago when I started working. I sometimes played recently again, small stakes online. Always the same scenario happens: I start, play well, win money, all of a sudden lose control, perhaps get a bad-beat and start tilting off everything I have. Quite a disaster. I think I have a serious mental problem.

What would you recommend me? Has anyone made similar experiences?

That's not a serious mental problem. It's more a financial problem - and adrenaline overload.

It's a serious problem if you are physically hurting yourself or mentally hurting others. It's serious if you consider it damaging your health.

I was playing an MTT tonight. 100 left, 2nd in chips and I lose on an flop allin to runner runner quads. I then lost the rest of my chips soon after when I preflopped allin with AK and was called by the blind for no reason other than it was his blind with A6. He rivered the 6. Adrenaline surged through my body and I felt I was about to go insane - or at least smash another mouse against a wall. I deal with it by having some weights/push up bars by my PC.

Basically my exercise schedule is ruled by my bad beats and bad play. I have no cash but I look better on the beach!

It might sound dumb - but it works for me.

get a bad-beat and start tilting

If this is true, then just log off your computer and take a break every time you have a truely bad beat on one of your tables (i.e. all in on flop w/ set of 4s vs AA only to have villain spike an A on the river, etc.). Don't start up again until you've had a chance to regroup. You aren't playing for a living anymore, so there is no need to keep grinding when you take a bad beat.

Make a habit of taking few minutes break after a bad beat...and yeah..having a punching bag in close vicinity helps a ton, sad but true.

I recommend that you not go back to being a pro. It's okay to gamble, as long as you do it within your means.
